Structure and Function of the AquaLOCK® Quickwall

The AquaLOCK® Quickwall is constructed from durable slatted panels and is available in protection heights of up to 1.6 meters, depending on the width. Engineered for fast and tool-free installation, it features a one-click deployment system, enabling immediate flood protection in emergencies.

Its specially developed snap-in mechanism creates high clamping pressure against the adjoining building surfaces with minimal effort, ensuring a secure and watertight seal. The discreet connection profiles can be customized in any RAL color, allowing seamless architectural integration while maintaining aesthetic appeal.

Versatile Solutions for Wide Openings and Corner Installations

For larger areas, multiple AquaLOCK® Quickwalls can be connected in a multi-span system using interlocking support posts, forming an extended flood protection barrier. The support posts are anchored into stainless steel sleeves embedded in the ground, allowing for secure and stable installation.

Additionally, two AquaLOCK® Quickwalls can be connected at a corner, enabling continuous flood protection for equipment, refrigeration units, hospital corridors, and other critical infrastructure—ensuring barrier-free access while maintaining flood resilience.

Where can the Aqualock® Quickwall be used?

The AquaLOCK® Quickwall is mounted in front of entrances and terrace doors, patio doors, windows or garage doors, thus preventing water from entering the building. The versatile and tailor-made water barrier also provides secure protection for access points to machinery or production lines, office buildings, hospitals, etc.

With AquaLOCK® Quickwall, buildings are safely protected against water penetration and the risk of flooding is significantly reduced.

Customized installation

There are two installation options for AquaLOCK® Quickwall. Depending on the structural situation, the Quickwall can be installed inside or in front of the reveal. A combination of both is also possible.

The AquaLOCK® Quickwall as a multi-field system

Another possibility is to install the AquaLOCK® Quickwall as a multi-span system with multiple plug-in posts adjacent to each other. In this version, the Quickwall is flood resistant in accordance with the ift guideline at a water level of up to 0.9 m, as per the standards of the Europaverband Hochwasserschutz e.V. (European Association for Flood Protection). Only a very low leakage of 0.053 litres/min/m² was measured.

AquaLOCK® Quickwall provides certified flood resistance

The AquaLOCK® Quickwall is characterized by a tested sealing system. The Europaverband Hochwasserschutz e.V. has certified the flood resistance in accordance with the ift guideline up to a water level of 1 m (height of the tested element). Nevertheless, we guarantee flood resistance for the building in question in accordance with the ift guideline up to a water level of 1.6 m if the Quickwall is installed for example in front of a door. Precisely fitting building connection profiles, attached to the sides, as well as a base plate made of anodised aluminium provide an optimal sealing surface and serve as an adjustment aid when inserting the AquaLOCK® Quickwall.
