With a market share of over 70 % in Germany, sectional doors are by far the most widely recognised garage doors, and indeed, for good reasons : They are relatively affordable, easy to install and offer great potential for customisation with a wide range of colour and design combinations. Another advantage is the minimal space requirement - with a sufficient lintel, the clearance height and width are almost completely retained, which is particularly important for low and narrow door openings.
The AquaLOCK® sectional door guarantees the above-mentioned advantages combined to our proven flood protection technology, to provide you a reliable protection against heavy rain and flooding. The AquaLOCK® system is permanently mounted on the door and protects your building as soon as you close the door by remote control.
The AquaLOCK® sectional door can be flexibly integrated into almost any installation situation. This applies to both new builds and modernisation projects. Similar to all AquaLOCK®. products, our sectional door has also been independently tested for flood protection safety and certified by the European Flood Protection Association.
Practical and elegant
The powder-coated steel corners mounted on the left and right in the reveal ensure optimum contact pressure so that the silicone seal specially developed for this door closes perfectly. The optional base plate made of either stainless steel or anodised aluminium guarantees an absolutely even sealing surface on the underside of the door. The elegant aluminium profiles are also available painted in a door colour for an additional charge.
Patented AquaLOCK® flood protection technology
Due to its space-saving installation, the AquaLOCK® sectional door is particularly suitable for low and narrow door openings, providing an advantage where space is limited and vehicles are large or wide. The primary panel is always protected up to a height of 500 mm and a width of 3,000 mm - a version up to 6,000 mm is in preparation.
It is essential that the floor under the lower panel is absolutely even during installation. This is rarely the case, so we recommend the installation of stable overrun profiles made of either stainless steel or anodized aluminium, which compensate for unevenness and slopes and thus ensure that the AquaLOCK® sectional door operates smoothly..
The AquaLOCK® sectional door XXL for commercial buildings
With just a few adaptations, the AquaLOCK® sectional door can also be used in industrial or commercial buildings. Similar to the smaller doors for private garages, the protection here also corresponds to the dimensions of the lower panel, so that a protection height of up to 700 mm and a width of up to 8,000 mm is achieved.
In such a way, even large halls with several gates, for instance at haulage companies, bus companies, fire departments or factory halls with truck entrances, the AquaLOCK® sectional door will protect you reliably against heavy rain and flooding.
